This multi-award winning album takes the listener on a trip back through time, starting out with an heavily electronic version of O Fortuna from Carmina Burana, laden with catchy loops and samples, and finishing at the other end of the spectrum with Brian Wilson’s iconic instrumental ‘Pet Sounds’ – featuring lush strings and brass, as well as XR’s ever-present amazing musicians on Piano, Organ, Bass, and Guitars.
Also featured on the album are tracks as diverse as Apache (Bongo Rock), Leyanda, Clubbed to Death, and the main theme from the cult classic movie Enter The Dragon. Guest vocals also feature, with powerful covers of Chandelier and Kashmir from our very own John Bonham (as seen on the Voice of Ireland). And of course it wouldn’t be complete without two of Extreme Rhythm’s big percussion solo works.
