NICK BAILEY
Nick Bailey is one of Europe’s most in-demand percussionists, constantly switching between different genres of music, with his extremely visual style of performance, and sensitivity to the ‘bigger musical picture’ gaining him a super reputation equally as musician and creative producer.
Nick has performed and recorded with many top international acts, including Kelly Clarkson, Riverdance The Show, Celtic Woman, Tommy Fleming, Stockton’s Wing, as well as our own National Symphony Orchestra and RTE Concert Orchestra. Nick toured the world for 10 years with Riverdance and Celtic Woman, recording several albums and DVDs along the way, including the Emmy-Nominated Celtic Woman Live at Powerscourt.
He has performed in some of the most prestigious music venues in the world, such as Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado (where U2 shot ‘Under a Blood Red Sky’ video), The Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Arena in London, Sydney Opera House, and Tokyo International Forum.
Notable TV appearances include The X Factor UK, Regis and Kelly on Good Morning America, The Eurovision Song Contest Final (2013), The Voice of Ireland, and Dancing with the Stars.
Following his most recent Grammy success, and invitation to the 59th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, Nick is now firmly focused on the next Extreme Rhythm album and live stage production.
Nick’s trademark Extreme Rhythm style electronic beats recently featured in a series of high profile concerts at the 3 Arena in Dublin, The Marquee in Cork, and The Electric Picnic, in the RTE Concert Orchestra & Jenny Greene concert series.
