If you were stranded on a desert island, what 5 items would you take with you?
Running gear, iPhone (which would be dead after about 24 hours :-), CD player, Lighter, Pocket knife – only because everyone has one of these when they’re stranded on a desert island :)

If you could perform with any artist or band, dead or alive, who would it be, and why?
This is an easy one!  The one and only … Luke Kelly.  Do I need to give a reason?!  This man is an Irish LEGEND!

The coolest ‘celebrity’ or famous person you’ve ever met, and why?
Irish legend, the one and only Ronnie Drew.  Because he IS an Irish Music legend, and he took time out to have a conversation with me, and even posed for a photo!

What’s the one thing you really need in your backstage area/dressing room before the show?
Water is a must.

How do you handle mistakes during a performance?
Try let on that it didn’t happen. But Nicky Knows it did, even if nobody else does :)

How do you handle nerves before a performance?
Just stay close to the lads.  Because we’re all in the same boat, and having the gang around you makes it all feel less nervy.

When you’re not playing music, what other hobbies or activities do you enjoy?
Athletics, gym, photography.  I also spend a lot of time organising charity events.

Do you have a quote, or motto that you try to live by?
‘You’re here for a good time, not a long time!’

Name your most memorable moment with Extreme Rhythm (doesn’t have to be onstage)
Travelling home from a gig and Nicky and myself CRYING laughing about something for over an hour, while none of the lads knew or could understand what we were laughing at.  What made it funnier was that they really wanted to know what it was, but we wouldn’t / couldn’t tell them.  Bet you’re all wondering now?  ;-)

If you weren’t a musician, what would be your dream career?

We live on a planet that’s killing thousands of men, women, and children from natural disasters, but STILL man feels the need to kill more because of their beliefs!  As I said earlier, we’re here for a good time, not a long time!    Day Day!  :)
